An audience of 50 was on hand for the ASAM Construction Advancement Forum featuring representatives from CSM Group, a construction management firm founded in 1983.

The speakers discussed CSM Group’s relationships with its subcontractors; the need for pre-qualification forms; safety on the job; CSM subcontractor ratings; correspondence policies; the payment process; and paperwork. Following their presentations, they fielded audience questions regarding results of the subcontractor rating system; how the rating system affects the bid process; change orders; technical advances; unavoidable delays and additional man-hours.
